Logo Variations
The Kindex logo can be used in either horizontal or stacked orientation, depending on what best suits the design.
It can also be used with or without the “Research and Knowledge Centre” subtext, depending on whether the additional context is necessary.
Download Logos & AssetsLogo Icon
The icon may be used as a stand-alone mark for Kindex. It would be best used as an accent, or a sign-off.
On external communications and designs, the full name Kindex should be visible or represented somewhere in relation to the logo icon.
Primary Logo Colours
The Kindex logo is intended to be used in either Full Colour (on light backgrounds) or Full Colour Reverse (on dark backgrounds) whenever possible. Using the full colour versions allows the branding to come through most effectively.
These colour guidelines apply to all versions of the logo—horizontal or stacked, with or without subtext, and icon.

Secondary Logo Colours
The Kindex logo can be used in One-Colour or Reverse when there is a need for higher contrast or for fewer colours to be used, such as a busy background or specific printing needs. The Black logo can also be used if not printing in colour.
These colour guidelines apply to all versions of the logo—horizontal or stacked, with or without subtext, and icon.

Clear Space
It’s important to keep a certain amount of “clear space” around your logo when placing it on brand materials, advertising, or any visual graphics.
Clear space helps present the logo and maintain good visibility when placed with other logos, marks, or graphics. The height of the letter “x” is the benchmark for spacing (marked with an “x”). The space around the logo should be this size at a minimum.
This guideline applies to all versions of the logo.

Typography Styling
Typography plays a large role in establishing visual language. It helps set the tone of communication and aids in providing clarity, style, and character.
For a consistent style, follow these styling suggestions.
Main headings or large display text should be set in Early Sans and be larger or most prominent compared to accompanying text. Line height or leading should be approx. 112-130% depending on size (larger percentage, as the heading size gets smaller).
Body copy or paragraphs should be set in Figtree Regular. It should have approx. 180% line height (leading) for easy reading.
